We need volunteers to help us finish setting up our new ceramics studio! If you're interested and can help out for a two-hour shift on Saturdays, please let us know! Tasks might include painting, setting up shelves and furniture, building tables, and generally shuffling things around the room :)

The Clay Center of New Orleans is a nonprofit organization that serves to grow, support and elevate ceramic art and artists by bringing high-quality ceramic art exhibitions, education, outreach, and professional opportunities to the city of New Orleans.

Description


The Clay Center of New Orleans was founded to increase the amount of ceramic art education, exhibition, and professional opportunities available in New Orleans, as well as to create greater access to ceramic supplies, tools, and facilities. Since opening in 2018, our Exhibitions Program has put on over 30 juried exhibitions of contemporary ceramic artwork. Our new studio/classroom is under construction and slated to open in 2022.
