We are looking for somebody with a passion for Mental Health to schedule multi-weekly Zoom meetings through Google Calendar, send follow up emails, and update our spreadsheets and attend our weekly all-team meetings. In doing so, you will have the opportunity to participate in our artistic endeavors as well. If you are at all curious about anything we have mentioned, please feel free to reach out and we'd be happy to provide more information.

Mission Statement

A Gap in the Forest is a place for like-minded peers to find creativity, empathy and empowerment. Our mission is to support and uplift peers living with mental health conditions, providing a platform to showcase our many talents and skills, foster open and honest dialogue and educate those with and without lived experience.

Description

We are a peer-to-peer grassroots nonprofit organization aimed at uplifting and supporting creatives with mental health conditions by providing a platform to showcase our artistic endeavors and personal experience to a larger audience. We are looking for creatives living with mental health conditions to add to our collective voice and contribute to our various projects including writing, photography, film and artwork of any form of artistic expression. Here you have the opportunity be a part of a community all about self expression and the honesty around the shared experience. This includes open dialogue around various topics pertaining to mental health. We are publishing a multi-media book, making a documentary film, and advocating for legislative change through weekly community outreach roundtable discussions.
