Love For Kids Inc. coordinates our Annual Holiday Event where underserved and high-risk children are invited to one of the longest-running events of its kind. Groups are invited through local recreation centers, schools and other partnering non-profit agencies. Children between the ages of 6 - 12 years of age enjoy a day of entertainment, horseback riding, outdoor games, hayrides, carnival games, a petting zoo, and food. Children are also encouraged to visit stations provided by sponsors and partner agencies. The stations are opportunities for children to interactively experience and learn about bicycle and helmet safety, drug prevention, obesity, health education, and other topics. All children have the opportunities for pictures with professional-level characters, prizes, handouts, and other additional giveaways that vary each year. At the end of the day, each child leaves with a gift specific to their age and gender as well as the memory of a day on a ranch when they return.
