Are you the kind of person who has a heart to serve others in crisis? If so, consider joining us at Hope4Healing Ministries! We are looking for Hope Coaches to work with clients who come to us for hope and healing. In this role you will be supervised by our Ministry Services Director, set your own schedule, and contribute as many hours per week that you are comfortable giving.
Responsibilities:
- Initiate initial contact with clients we refer to you and take the lead in connecting with the client, building rapport, and establishing the coach/client relationship.
- Communicates honestly with the Client, is comfortable giving feedback and suggestions that may be difficult to discuss, and is able to fully engage and devote himself/herself to the coaching process during client interactions.
- Maintains the ethics and standards of behavior established by the National Christian Counselors Association.
- Agrees to maintain constant communication with the Ministry Services Director on case assignments, scheduling expectations, status of clients, well-being of Self, and any and all issues occurring through the client-coach relationship.
- Notify the Ministry Services Director if they feel the scope of the client’s issues is beyond their capacity to provide effective coaching services.
- Does not demean, shame, maliciously criticize, or otherwise harm the Client’s mental well-being.
- Acknowledges that coaching is a comprehensive process that may explore different areas of the Client’s life, including work, finances, health, and relationships, but it is ultimately the Client’s decision how he/she incorporates coaching into each aspect of life.
- Client is solely responsible for implementing the techniques discovered through coaching. The Coach is to serve as a mentor of guidance, not an absolute of resolution to the Client’s issue.
- Maintain appropriate documentation and records of coaching sessions with clients in accordance with National Christian Counselors Association standards.

Hope4Healing Ministries is a nonprofit corporation headquartered in Memphis, Tennessee. Our purpose is to help those who cannot help themselves due to circumstances beyond their control.
We empower the underserved by healing their hearts and minds from the effects of poverty, trauma, and abuse.
This ministry started because the need for helping those in poverty is so great. Too many people of all ages cannot afford counseling or life coaches, so they flounder until failure looks like the only option. The hope of this ministry is to bring hope to those who feel hopeless, to give them a chance to change the trajectory of their lives, and to feel confident in their future.
