RISE is a 501(c)3 public charity and we rely on donations and funding to help us accomplish our mission. Our Fundraising and Donor Engagement Manager will be responsible for developing RISE’s overarching fundraising strategies, maintaining donor relationships and meeting annual fundraising goals.

If you have the passion and the right background, and would like to join our founding team in mainstreaming sustainable travel through education, we’d be happy to have you on board.

Responsibilities

  • Create a strong fundraising message that appeals to potential donors
  • Research prospective donors and build relationships with current donors
  • Develop strategies to encourage new or increased contributions
  • Organize campaigns or events to solicit donations
  • Work with the grant writer to submit grant proposals and reports
  • Maintain complete and orderly records of donor information
  • Develop donor engagement strategies

Requirements

  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Professional fundraising experience preferred
  • Event planning experience a plus
  • Attention to detail
