About Linc Housing: Linc Housing is a non-profit that builds affordable housing for low-income families and seniors, veterans, transition age youth, and formerly homeless individuals. Linc also offer supportive services and community engagement activities for our residents!

Current Need This Holiday Season: This holiday season, Linc Housing is looking for local partners to help support our neighbors. This pandemic continues to put a strain on the important community resources that were once within reach during this of the year, including toy/gift drives and food resources/meal distributions. Some of our neighbors are still being impacted by food security and access to fresh produce and have been experiencing disruptions in food bank distributions this holiday season.

How You Can Get Involved: We hope to create opportunities for your group to meet our neighbors where they are and share some holiday joy during challenging, uncertain times. This could be a way to engage your organization, develop your team culture, boost company morale this holiday season, and reach for social impact outside of your day-to-day tasks.

Please find below some ways you can directly support this community:

  • Donate gifts to youth during the holidays through an Amazon Wish List
  • Provide fresh groceries (produce, dairy, etc.) or grocery gift cards
  • Cater nutritious and reheatable holiday meals with a designated vendor
  • Volunteer at a holiday party hosted by Linc at a community

We are happy to discuss opportunities specific to your group and what they are comfortable exploring this season. Safety and health are of the utmost importance to us. We strictly adhere to CDC Guidelines for any in-person activities.

Description

Linc Housing builds, owns, and operates affordable housing for low-income families and seniors throughout California. Our resident services department provides life-enhancing services to residents. Our staff members teach and collaborate with nearby agencies to facilitate classes and activities that cover health, exercise, financial literacy, after-school care, ESL, computer skills, crafts, volunteer opportunities, social events, and field trips to experience science, nature, and the arts.
