This is a craft volunteer opportunity for individuals that have a passion for sewing, knitting, crafting, or quilting. Bridge Hospice is looking for volunteers to create Memory Bears for families of patient that have passed from terminal illness. Memory Bears are created form article of clothing of those patients then presented to the families as a keepsake.

We are also look for blankets to be sown or quilted for or patients. These blankets will help to show our patient's feel thought of and cared for. Sensory blankets are also a need. These activity blankets are provided to our Dementia/Alzheimer's patients. They help the patient's stay busy.

  • This is a remote volunteer opportunity with flexible hours. You craft or create on your free time. We do as volunteers to commit to two hours of volunteer time per month.
  • There is a required online volunteer training course that must be completed before volunteer opportunity can start.
