Are you knowledgeable about social media culture? Can you express your unique perspectives, sense of humor, and thoughts in short form? Are you skilled at engaging with and growing a large audience?
Low Entropy is looking for someone who is passionate about being community-focused, mental health, personal development, and creating meaningful connections to be a part of our social media team. Tasks will include managing the Low Entropy Twitter account, increasing our engagement, and representing our mission/philosophy online. This position is great for somebody looking to use and develop their social media skills working in a non-profit environment.
Responsibilities:
- Monitoring and executing social media presence
- Account management
- Engaging with discourses that align with the Low Entropy mission
- Staying on top of new channels & trends
- Report engagement analytics
- Supporting integration of social media to the funding development strategy
- Copywriting
- Research
Desired Qualifications (however not required to apply):
- Social media expertise
- Knowing what type of content works best on what platform
- Understanding how to optimize content based on platform
- Ability to engage an audience through social posts
Part-time hours: 5 per week
