Many shools, social service agencies and organizations publish "wish lists" of items that might be needed by their clients. Member volunteers of the Assistance League shop to fulfill these lists and deliver the items to homeless shelters, children’s service organizations, and emergency room social care providers. The Assistance League has a budget for this work and members spend against the budget to provide assistance.

· Provide children with school supplies

· Provide shoe vouchers to elementary school-aged children

· Donate plush, comfort bears to children dealing with trauma

· Provide sets of crisis clothing to hospitals for assault survivors

· Partner with Grant Hospital to support young mothers

· Partner with Huckleberry House to provide clothing and start-up baskets
