Hello! Golden Age Home is an Assisted Living located in Lockhart Texas. We are looking for a couple volunteers for our front entrance to screen all visitors before they are granted access to our building. This screening will include taking their temperature, adding them to the visitor log, and occasional clerical support. We currently have 1 volunteer for the morning shift 8am-12pm. Looking for PRN morning shift and afternoon shift 12pm to 5pm. Our goal is to have coverage Monday through Friday 8am - 5pm. We are able to customize shifts, ideally 2 shifts per day, morning 8am-12pm and 12pm-5pm. Our goal is to keep our residents and team safe while following all CDC Guidelines. We are an intentional community that serves each resident with the utmost dignity and excellence. Golden Age Home began as a dream in the hearts & minds of the community of Lockhart First United Methodist Church in the late 1950s. It was apparent to these concerned Lockhart citizens that there was a need for a Christian environment for the elderly who could no longer maintain their own homes. Their vision was to build a place where these ladies and gentlemen could receive necessary medical care, a balanced diet, and planned activities. Golden Age Home received its nonprofit status in 1964 which it continues to operate under today.
