Greeters for the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program set a positive and friendly tone for all clients at the Financial Empowerment Center. Greeters also assist with answering general client questions and scheduling appointments.
By becoming a VITA Greeter, you will help working families take advantage of programs like the Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC), brining millions of dollars to the local community -- dollars that will help families jumpstart their savings, reduce debt and invest in our community.
Training will be provided; no tax experience needed.
