The Better Neighbor Project hosts several free pet food pantries in partnerships with human food distributions across Los Angeles each week, and we need help packing bags of pet food in order to keep pets and families together!

Packing volunteers will be responsible for:

  • Packaging and preparing dry food to be ready for distribution and events

  • Lifting and/or moving up to 25lbs of pet food

  • Maintaining the packing area clean

  • Supporting staff with preparing for pet pantry distribution

Required Training/Qualifications:

  • On Site Training

  • 16+ years of age, families welcomed!

  • Possess basic range of motion and energy to complete simple tasks such as sweeping, wiping down, lift and/or move up to 25lbs, etc.

3 Shifts

  • 09:00 AM to 12:00 PM
  • 11:30 AM to 02:30 PM
  • afternoon / 02:00 PM to 04:00 PM
  • NONE OF THESE TIMES WORK FOR ME, BUT I CAN STILL HELP
