New year, new opportunities to make a difference where you live!

Commit to making a difference in your community this year. Join the Keep Hayward Clean and Green Task Force as they kick-off their annual program of community clean-up and beautification events in Hayward.

These events provide Hayward residents with an opportunity to make a real and significant difference in their neighborhoods, connect with their neighbors, qualify for community service hours, and learn about money saving Green City programs available.

This beautification event will be held at: Weekes Community Park, 27182 Patrick Ave.

Registration Details:

Pre-register before 3 p.m. on Thursday, April 21, 2022. Same day registration will be available at the event starting at 8:00 a.m.

Please Note: Adult Supervision is NOT Provided by the City of Hayward at this event. ALL volunteers under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a participating adult.

Description

The Keep Hayward Clean and Green (KHCG) Task Force was formed by the City Council to help address issues impacting community appearance. Its mission is to preserve the environment and enhance the visual appearance of the City of Hayward through the joint efforts of individuals, volunteer groups, businesses and municipal resources.
