Do you enjoy walking? Escort our residents to onsite medical appointments via wheelchair

We are looking for volunteers to help transport residents from their rooms to in-house medical appointments via wheelchair. No driving is required for this opportunity; everything takes place within our Care Center. Shifts are available weekday mornings from 9 am to 12 pm - dates vary each month. You can sign up for as many or few shifts as your schedule allows.

Work on your 10,000 steps and make new friends while enhancing the mobility and quality of life of our residents. A few hours of your time can make a big difference!

Questions? Please contact Melanie at mjagolino@lyngblomsten.org. We will help you with the onboarding process, including a DHS background screen. For the health and safety of the Lyngblomsten community, we request that volunteers are up-to-date with COVID vaccines. Facemasks may be required if the COVID transmission level is high in Ramsey County.
