Do you enjoy walking? Accompany wheelchair users as they go to onsite appointments.

We are looking for volunteers to help residents who use wheelchairs get from their rooms to in-house medical appointments. No driving is required for this opportunity; everything takes place within our Care Center. Shifts are available weekday mornings from 9 am to 12 pm - dates vary each month.

Work on your 10,000 steps and make new friends while enhancing the mobility and quality of life of our residents. A few hours of your time can make a big difference!

Lyngblomsten provides compassionate care to older adults through residential and community services. Volunteers of all ages are welcomed to explore over 100 unique and varied opportunities. While short-term options may be available periodically, we encourage longer-term commitments given the exceptional level of orientation, training and on-going education Lyngblomsten provides in support of its volunteers.
