ORGANIZATION: The Salvation Army Alameda County

We need your help this holiday season! Come volunteer and help us fundraise in support of year-round, community programs, and social services.


The Salvation Army of Alameda County provides programs and services free to the local community. The Donations that we receive during the holiday season comprise the vast majority of TSA funding for the year. Please help us fundraise in support of community programs such as;

  • Vocational training (nurses assistant, construction apprentice, line chef)
  • English literacy classes (Spanish, Cantonese, Korean)
  • Community food distribution programs, (grocery giveaway, mon/wed/fri)
  • Homeless outreach and support,
    (Everyday ~1,000 to go lunches delivered to the homeless of Alameda county)
  • Childcare and pre-k education from the Booth Center, FREE to qualifying local families
  • summer camp, tutoring and after school care
  • and more!

  • 10:00 AM to 02:00 PM
    shifts are flexible and we'll work with you to find a time that fits your schedule
