Elder Wisdom Circle

We are doing some research on the usability of our website and need your help. You must be between the ages of 18-35. Participants will be asked to use the website and provide comments and feedback about the site and how it functions.

These 1-hour usability test sessions are being scheduled from now until Nov. 22, 2021. Each session will last approximately one hour and will take place on a day that fits your schedule starting Nov. 30-December 18, 2021.

As a thank you for your time, you will receive a $5 Starbucks e-card at the end of the session.

To be eligible to be a participant, you must be familiar with using a meeting platform like Zoom, a user of the internet, and have sought advice/guidance online before. You shouldn't however be familiar with the Elder Wisdom Circle. You also have to be willing to share a personal issue/problem/question on the site and be willing to receive a response via email.

Who we are

The ElderWisdomCircle(tm) is an online inter-generational program pairing advice seekers with a network of older adults ("Elders") who provide empathetic, caring, and supportive advice based on their own life experiences.

Elders answer advice letters via the website, offering readers of younger generations free, personal advice on a wide range of topics-love and relationships, family and child-rearing, career and self-improvement, and much more.

Based in the San Francisco Bay Area, the ElderWisdomCircle(tm) has Elders across North America. The EWC program and our Elders have been featured on ABC, BBC, CBS, FOX, NPR, and in such publications as the Wall Street Journal, Time magazine, the LA Times, Ladies Home Journal, Real Simple, Glamour, and USA Today.

Our Elder members participate individually from their home computers or in groups at retirement communities (with the help of a facilitator). Anyone with access to the Internet can request anonymous advice on any topic and will receive a personalized e-mail response in return. The voice of experience is hip, sincere, and highly sought after by people of all ages; we are the most popular source of free online advice in the country.
