ORGANIZATION: American Red Cross - Texas Gulf Coast Region

*Virtual Opportunity* South Texas; DAT (Disaster Action Team)
The Red Cross responds to 7 fires a day. The volunteer DAT team responds to these fires who meet the family, within 2 hours, any time night or day.
Couple of Functions:
Dispatch DAT members to monitor the response and ensure appropriate resources are made available.
Activate Disaster Health Services, Disaster Mental Health, Disaster Spiritual Care, Public Affairs when requested.
Time Commitment: At least 12 hours on-call shift per week. Coverage of the night shift ( 6pm-6am); weekend shifts are CRITCALLY needed.
