The In-Kind Inbound Volunteer is responsible for inbounding all daily in-kind donations to the organization for two of Soldiers’ Angels largest and busiest campaigns: Treats for Troops and Holiday Stockings For Heroes.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Process and sort all incoming donations during holiday season.
• Completes the appropriate Soldiers’ Angels in-kind donation records as well as the filing electronically.
• Assist with all aspects of shipping and receiving, to include unloading delivery trucks and/or freight shipments.
• Prepares packages and pallets for outbound shipping.
• Cross references incoming donations against master list of expected donations.
• Maintains a safe and clear work area by keeping shelves, pallets and work stations neat and organized.
• Share information with the Development and Communications team that can be included in affiliate communication tools (newsletter, eNews, early bird, annual report, direct mail and acknowledgment letters) to effectively inform donors of the need for and impact of their work.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Computer proficiency, with expertise in Microsoft Office products (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), and Dropbox.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with exceptional attention to detail
• Able to regularly lift up to 70 lbs.
