The # of dumped, abandoned and ill-treated Dogs & Cats is epidemic before, during and even more so since COVID-19. We get dozens of calls/day from Good Samaritans calling to report a variety of situations. The Cats / Dogs are not theirs, they live next door, show up on their property, are left tied to trees in the woods, or to wander urban streets, country roads, left out in to suffer in the weather elements day/night, etc. Many call-ins are also just wonderful Seniors looking for help to 'adopt' a new dog and don't know how to find our website and browse the 70,000+ Adoptable Dogs & Cats we list every day on our site.

We will provide you with all the scripts to cover every reason someone calls SaveARescue to find help in getting a Dog/Cat saved, adopted, etc. No worries.

We are the 1st Responders and the ONLY resource/call center the pet caring public has to reach out for help. Our #1 Service is to offer a 'live' caring person who they can talk to ~ to get help, and they are SO glad to get someone live, that cares and can give them advice, help, solutions and resources in their communities to get 'hands on help'.

SaveARescue has coordinated and 'saved' more than 12,000+ Dogs & Cats since we launched our K-911 Hotline just before COVID-19.

We are all unpaid Volunteers ~ but looking to get funded to hire paid staff.
We need your Volunteer help ~ if only for 1-2 hrs/day or week ~ whatever you can do will help.

We also need volunteers like yourself to answer our "Chatline' as well ~ where ppl look for advice and help also.

We are set up so you can check any messages and respond kindly to people seeking help to help a defenseless Dog/Cat they have witnessed and really want to help, but don't know what to do.

We also pay for the initial Vet exams for those pets in immediate need of medical attention. 100% of our donations is used for this; transportation; crates' 'pull fees' from High Kill Shelters, etc.
