It's been a while, but The Nutcracker and the OBT Boutique is back at the Keller this year! The OBT boutique is an important part of the Nutcracker tradition, providing souvenirs that become a part of each family's Holiday season for years to come. 100% of the Boutique proceeds support and underwrite not only our season programming, but also our dancers, and our education outreach activities in the community. We wish to continue the Boutique’s success and contribution to OBT by asking for your help to volunteer and make this the best Nutcracker Boutique yet!
We want to make this year's volunteering experience as safe as possible. We will be instituting some health and safety procedures, a few of which are listed below, to ensure your wellbeing while volunteering. Everyone entering the Keller, including patrons, staff, performers, and vendors are expected to adhere to the guidelines in bold. Other guidelines below are for Boutique volunteers:
- ​Mandatory masking
- Proof of vaccination with ID or negative COVID PCR test (not rapid test) taken within 72 hours and ID
- Wellness screening at beginning of shift
- Increased sanitation of POS systems
There are many shifts available throughout the Nutcracker show run, each with unique duties. Shifts run from December 5-December 27. The majority of shifts involve selling product to patrons, while others include loading, unloading, or setting up displays. Don't forget that you will be able to watch the show while you work. This year, we're using SignUp.com to organize our upcoming volunteer shifts. Please see below for more details.
