Human Resources Greeter

We have limited opportunities in the Summer. Please contact volunteer coordinator if you are interested in the Fall.

Are you a people person interested in learning more about the workings of a busy human resources office? Then consider volunteering for A-B Tech in our Human Resources division.

Volunteers are needed to perform office tasks such as answering and routing telephone calls/taking messages, greeting visitors, and serving as an information center for the department. They are also needed to make copies and prepare packets as needed.

Volunteers need to have computer skills in Microsoft Word and Excel, be comfortable standing for filing, and abide by a strict confidentiality policy. In addition, volunteers must have a High School diploma or equivalent with at least six months of clerical or office environment experience.

  • Times/Dates: Shifts are available 2‐4 hours a week, varies upon department needs
  • Location: A-B Tech historic Sunnicrest Building (Front Desk)
  • Training/Orientation: On-the-job training will be provided.
