Some family caregivers need some short times to themselves. Grocery shopping, catch a movie, or just to go get some lunch. Also, for a facility patient, allot of our local facilities are short staffed and the employees have a hard time spending one on one time with every patient. This makes patients feel unloved or even neglected and just like any amount of time spent with them to talk, or just hold their hand. This is where a volunteer is so appreciated.
