Make a real and positive impact in a child's life as a friend and mentor.

Big Brothers Big Sisters creates one-to-one friendships between a child who needs a positive role model (Little) and a caring adult volunteer (Big). They share everyday activities - catching a fish for the first time or reading a book all the way through - which blossoms into a relationship that expands the child's horizons and helps them to make better decisions, improve their school work, and establish goals for themselves. Bigs provide the trust and openness necessary for Littles to build self esteem, feel safe and respected, learn to believe in their own abilities, make healthy choices and gain control over things that happen to them. One person providing positive direction for a child has the power to measurably impact the direction of that child's entire future.

For as little as 4 hours a month you can impact the life of a child through our Community-based, Sports-based or School-based mentoring programs.

We will match you based on convenient location to you and with a child who has similar interests so building a friendship will be fun and easy!
