Save to Favorites

ORGANIZATION: Joya Scholars

The mission of JOYA Scholars is to inspire and prepare students from families of low-income communities in Fullerton to succeed through higher education. At JOYA, we serve first generation middle school and high school students who dream of going to college.

Our academic tutors provide academic support for a minimum of an hour per week by helping students excel in challenging and rigorous coursework. You can choose your own availability and grade level you feel most comfortable working with.

We are looking for individuals who possess a good understanding of the Economics subject matter while working with students, and demonstrate a sensitive and caring attitude toward the students.

Make a difference by joining the JOYA Scholars team and help students strengthen their academic skills!

**NOTE: We ask that tutors consider staying for the full academic year, but we can work with short term tutors. For this opportunity, we are specifically looking for IN-PERSON tutors. Thank you for your interest!
