Life Target is a 501(c)3 tax-exempt nonprofit organization whose mission. is to provide resources for people who need the tools and emotional support to channel their fear or anger away from potential lethal violence and toward positive growth.

Life Target is the direct result of the personal experience of Life Target Founder and President Catrine Bo' Griffith. Ms. Griffith’s victory over the option of violence came about through successful intervention and guided recovery. Life Target provides access to nearly 500 support and recovery resources through a unique database developed by Ms. Griffith.

We are a young organization and would benefit from the expertise and guidance of individuals with knowledge of fundraising, advocacy, law and organizational operations. We are seeking board members who are , passionate, action-oriented individuals who can provide input, feedback, and ideas, to help us grow and continue to save lives.

Principal Responsibilities

1. Champion LT's vision, and goals and raise awareness of our services to the public
2. Attend quarterly board meetings

1. Reviews budget and financial reports
2. Generate fundraising ideas and participate in actions and events.
3. Help identify and cultivate prospective donors and open doors with introductions.

1. Actively participate in discussions to share ideas and insights to improve our services.

Desired Skills and Experience:

1. We regularly work with those involved with mental health, teen violence, juvenile justice, human services and education and seek individuals involved in these areas.

Time Commitment: 10-15 hours/month
