We are looking for individuals experienced in multilateral meetings simulation with excellent skills in public speaking, research and negotiation. Under the direction of the Director of Education, the team will carry out Youthplomacy education program, one of them is the Model Diplomacy training for students of various level. This position will help to gain hands-on experience and training in many aspects of training organizing while also understanding a small non-profit organization operate.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Education associate, your assignments will include (but are not limited to) :

  • Develop curriculum for training program
  • Collaborating with the Research and Development team, conducting and creating in depth research in regards to multilateral meeting training Train participants in various aspect of multilateral meetings (drafting, public speaking, negotiating)
  • Preparing teaching materials for training program (i.e. brief paper, presentations, etc)
  • Identify possible audience for Model Diplomacy training
  • Attend bi-weekly team meetings as well as department meetings to report and provide input
  • Making recommendations for improvement where feasible and appropriate.

DESIRED SKILLS

  • You are energetic, innovative and hardworking with ideas about creative ways to train audiences in multilateral meeting simulations.
  • Prior experience as delegate and chair in Multilateral meeting simulations (i.e. Model United Nations, ASEAN Regional Forum, EU Meetings, etc)
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective working relationships with colleagues and other stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve results, work as a team, take the initiative and work independently
  • Full command of English, ability to work and communicate in Bahasa Indonesia is a plus but not mandatory.
