ARTS & MULTIMEDIA PORTFOLIO
We are looking for individuals experienced or interested in designing our social media branding in various platforms. Under the direction of the Director of Arts & Multimedia, the team is responsible to design and produce Youthplomacy’s graphic designs that will be published on various platform of Youthplomacy. This position will help to build your portfolio in of graphic design while also understanding a small non-profit organization operate.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
As an ARTS & MULTIMEDIA associate, your assignments will include (but are not limited to) :
* Conceptualizing visuals based on briefsPreparing rough drafts of material based on an agreed brief and producing design products for posts on various platforms
* Work with strategic communication team and other related department to produce designs for social media posts
* Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and in accordance with Youthplomacy’s standard
* Attend bi-weekly team meetings as well as department meetings to report and provide input
* Making recommendations for improvement where feasible and appropriate.
DESIRED SKILLS
* You are energetic, innovative and hardworking with ideas about graphic design
* Familiarity with design software and technologies (such as InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) A keen eye for aesthetics and details
* Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective working relationships with colleagues and other stakeholders.
* Demonstrated ability to achieve results, work as a team, take the initiative and work independently
* Full command of English, ability to work and communicate in Bahasa Indonesia is a plus but not mandatory.
