The Platteville Community Arboretum distributes quarterly newsletter publications in digital form to 500+ supporters. We're looking for newsletter contributors who would like to write articles, edit content and/or help with graphic design. Contributors choose article topics of their interests and works with a fun, welcoming and collaborative newsletter team.
Contributors should be members of the Platteville community, trail users or a member of our other PCA volunteer teams.
Hours are flexible and on your schedule while meeting team deadlines.

Our mission is to connect the Platteville community to the Rountree Branch corridor, through recreation, conservation and environmental education.

Description

Established in 2004, the Platteville Community Arboretum, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization with over 150 members. The PCA is truly a community effort, as all activities, projects and maintenance are fully supported by community volunteers, donations and memberships. The Platteville Community Arboretum maintains and manages over four miles of the Platteville area trail network and adjacent arboretum. Our work is focused on habitat restoration, environmental education and creating educational and recreational opportunities along the Rountree Branch Trail.
