Ensure military families' needs are met when faced with an emergency.
When a military family member experiences an emergency where they require their service member to come home,they can call our Hero Care Network (HCN) to begin an emergency communication message (ECM) case. Once the case is verified and the message is formatted and delivered to the service member’s command by the HCN, the regional follow upcaseworker will review the case and follow up with the family contact to make sure communication between the service member and their family is secured and assist the family with any further needs through referral service
