The Volunteer Greeter is the first person other volunteers see when they come out to volunteer at Madison Fields. This position is for a warm and welcoming volunteer who enjoys interacting with other volunteers. The volunteer greeter will field phone calls, answer questions, and make sure that volunteers sign in and out at the start and end of their day! This position is mostly administrative and may require data entry skills.
Volunteer Greeter Responsibilities:
- Greeting volunteers as they enter the facility for their volunteer time
- Answering volunteer questions about how to sign up for various events and opportunities
- Reminding volunteers to sign in and out on our volunteer system
- Answering and fielding phone calls while staff is not in the office
Required skills:
- Must be kind and welcoming
- Must be assertive and willing to answer questions

OVERVIEW
Madison Fields is a project of Madison House Autism Foundation, a national 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization based in Gaithersburg, Maryland. The foundation was created in 2007 to address the lifespan challenges facing adults with autism. Madison Fields offers an exciting opportunity to model what is possible when we as a community empower people of all abilities to participate and contribute. At Madison Fields, we recognize the strength in a diverse, inclusive community working together to help one another achieve their greatest potential. It is our feeling that we all grow best when we are growing together.
