Volunteer Administrative Assistant

CCA needs an administrative assistant for 2-3 hours per week. Hours are flexible but must be during the week day (Monday through Friday) and between 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM.

The right candidate will be comfortable talking to clients on the phone, emailing via Outlook, and working with Excel spreadsheets. The Volunteer Administrative Assistant provides administrative support, including data entry, letter composition, filing, photocopying, faxing, mailing, word processing, and other tasks.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

  1. Interacting with clients over the phone in a friendly and polite manner
  2. Directing emails from clients, potential volunteers, and potential donors to the correct person within CCA
  3. Tracking client appointments

Volunteers must be fully vaccinated. Volunteers must also complete reference and background checks. Three personal or professional references must be provided. A 1.5 hour CCA Volunteer Orientation must be completed, along with a 3-hour in-person Safe Environment (VIRTUS) Training. The VIRTUS training incorporates best practice standards for the prevention of sexual abuse of children and vulnerable adults.
