"You cannot do a kindness too soon, for you never know how soon it will be too late."
Ralph Waldo Emerson

You can be a companion and friend for a patient on hospice. With the inherent isolation of the pandemic, hospice patients need volunteer visitors more than ever.

Bristol Hospice Bend provides compassionate end of life care, with volunteers serving as integral parts of our patients' care team.

Hospice volunteer activities include companionship visits, caregiver support, pet therapy, bereavement support, or logistical help in the office. We're actively seeking volunteers and Veteran volunteers for our Vet to Vet volunteer program as well. If you have veteran experience or veterans issues are close to your heart, please let us know!

Your volunteer time is flexible and valued! When you are a part of the Bristol Volunteer Team, you receive training, support, a network of fellow volunteers and staff, and the knowledge that you have comforted someone on their final journey.

If this sounds like what you're looking for, please get in touch! We can't wait to meet you.
