Want to engage your neighborhood in helping to relieve hunger in Pierce County this holiday season? Whether you hold a personal food drive for your neighborhood or encourage giving at your place of work, Emergency Food Network will provide support to make it a success.
We can provide you with collection bins, customizable posters, and even a virtual donation page to share within your social circles. These funds will help Emergency Food Network purchase bulk food, solicit donations, and transport food to our partner programs. With every $1 raised, we can provide 5 meals to someone in need.
We are partnering with United Way for an 'Everything But the Turkey' Food Drive. If you have a public drop-off site, we can add it to our website to help publicize your drive!
If you need food drive bins, you can pick them up here M-F, 8:00 am - 4:00 pm:

Mission Statement
The mission of Emergency Food Network is "to provide Pierce County with a consistent, diverse and nutritious food supply so that no person goes hungry."
Description
"Currently, 1 in 10 people in Pierce County face food insecurity, and this need is continuing to rise. Through our 75+ Partner Programs (food pantries, meal sites, and shelters) all over Pierce County, EFN distributed over 14 million pounds of food in 2023 to our neighbors in need, including fresh produce grown at EFN’s Mother Earth Farm. This work was made possible by our 2,000+ volunteers, who worked over 12,000 hours in 2023. Volunteer work is vital in helping EFN pursue our mission of ensuring no person goes hungry. Volunteer opportunities include the Repack Project, Home Delivery, EFN’s Mother Earth Farm, and special events throughout the year. We hope you will join us!"
