Mission Statement

The Police Athletic League is a youth enrichment program that relies on education and recreational activities to cement a bond and create trust and understanding between Law Enforcement and youth.

Description

The Police Athletic League has been actively helping inner city youth since the early 1900's. We have a small but vital PAL center operating in the Cabana Colony neighborhood of Palm Beach Gardens.
Our main focus is on helping the children with after school homework assignments and projects. Many of our attendees are living in challenging circumstances at home, PAL provides a safe, nurturing environment where they can focus and receive the attention they need.
We also participate in sports activities that we either create ourselves or take groups of youth to other organized events.
We run a full Summer program during the school holiday's with daily field trips and in house activities.
Our center also provides a computer lab and game room where everyone can enjoy a little down time.
As a non-profit all of our programs are free to attendees.
Each year through PBSO we have 4 fund raising events, this year we will be holding two golf tournaments a bowlathon and a 5K run/walk. As we are staffed through PBSO 100% of funds raised at these events goes directly into the program.
