You belong here! Our volunteers are a part of the team.

The volunteer’s role in hospice care includes patient/family and /or administrative support. Volunteers can provide direct support in the patient’s home or a nursing facility with the purpose of companionship and /or caregiver relief. Some volunteers help the family/patient celebrate special occasions like birthdays, anniversaries, and holidays. Administrative volunteers primarily work in our hospice office filing and /or assisting with mailings.

Bereavement Support Volunteers serve as an additional support to grieving families and caregivers during the 13 moth period following the death of a loved one. Support may be provided in a variety of way, including assisting with bereavement telephone calls, cards, facilitating a bereavement support group, and/or assisting with annual memorial services.
