Our community initiatives team manages the operation, development, and maintenance of our community programs and education equity advocacy. Any aid, funds, or donations we give out to families goes through this department, and they answer community questions and handle basic outreach. Our biggest program, EHEP (Equity in Home Education Program) will be supervised by this team. Facilitating laptop and tech drives, book drives, and the distribution of aid and donations to families in need (including screening aid applications).

Canary Academy Online seeks to advocate for equitable access to a quality homeschool education by providing affordable support, assistance, and tools to all families. Canary Academy Online strives to facilitate a personalized and community-driven approach to homeschool education, making the process easy, affordable, and fun for all involved. We desire to put parents back in charge of the homeschool process, providing support, but not taking control.

Description

We are on a mission to make homeschooling equitable and accessible for all families, especially those from underrepresented and low-income backgrounds. From online resources and classes to curriculum and consultations, we've got the support and tools homeschoolers need to be successful.
