The LENA Project is a local non-profit working to encourage environmentally friendly and climate conscious actions. We are looking for a team of volunteers to help carry out our current project, Prompt for the Planet. Prompt for the Planet is an initiative that encourages people to respond to Amanda Gorman's 2018 Prompt for the Planet through creative expression. We are aiming to have artists and non-artists alike participate and respond to the prompt (art background is NOT at all necessary!). We are looking for volunteers that can find groups wanting to participate, and facilitate responses either through workshops or disseminating information. Volunteers are also needed to curate and archive responses. Volunteers should feel comfortable leading groups. Learn more at promptfortheplanet.com

The LENA Project is non-profit working to create an environmentally sustainable future for all. Inspired by the actions of a group of local preschool children wanting to "Help the Earth be the best Earth," The LENA Project was formed to carry on their mission. Through projects centering on sustainability, ecological awareness, and environmental education and action, LENA aims to promote a more environmentally sustainable future for all. While focusing on children and families, LENA works with various community organizations comprised of adults, children, university students, business owners, and city leaders all working together to create a better world and brighter future.
