Take action to improve or further clarify park conditions. This community service requires you to become a Quality Parks member and receive a @qualityparks.org account.
Next, search for parks in need of followup in our Long Island Parks Knowledge Base. Then read a listing, with special attention to the "followup" note.
Some followups are more complicated than others. If you're new to park stewardship, contact us first. We'll direct you to some less complicated ones first, or break it down in steps for you. It may just require a follow up phone call. We'll try to improve our listings to make this process easier, offering suggestions on next steps.
