Front Desk volunteers at the Boone County History & Culture Center welcome visitors to the Center, answer the phone and take messages, act as cashier for our Center Store, and answer questions that visitors may ask during their visit. There is training provided for this position. Volunteers are permitted to bring something else to do (work on laptop, read a book, etc) when the Center is not busy, as long as they can still complete volunteer duties.
