Welcome to our world of excitement, innovations, and dreams. Military Working Dog Heritage Museum, Inc. seeks creative, energetic volunteers for our web management/development group. The ideal candidate will become part of a team that manages website performance, facilitates hosting and server management, and develops, maintains, and updates website content, as needed for a newly-organized non-profit. Must work well with others so in addition to computer skills, people skills are a must. Must be bi-lingual in Tech and Regular-Speak in order to fully assist the entire volunteer team. Must be US-based and able to perform the following duties:

  • Plan, implement, manage, monitor, and upgrade the organization's website to ensure that it’s welcoming to everyone. (WordPress.)
  • Create email addresses and maintain databases.
  • Respond to and troubleshoot all website issues.
  • Identify and respond to all website security breaches.

Our organizations goals are to discover, curate, preserve, and exhibit world-class displays of America's military working dog history and ensure that the legacy and heritage of America's dog teams inspires future generations. We also plan to open a handler center where the focus will be on help, healing, and K-9 community.
