Passionate about customer service, hospitality and event planning? Learn from the ground up how a hotel runs when you intern at The Mansion on O Street. A hospitality-hotel and event internship at The Mansion will provide you with in-depth knowledge and experience on the intricacies of running a boutique hotel as well as special events. Put your hospitality knowledge to practical use as you help to manage concierge services, check-ins, housekeeping, and more. Get ready to help with an array of events including weddings, birthday parties, corporate events, retreats as well as breakfast, concerts, tea parties and more! Hands on experience in all aspects of event planning - from site visits, to set-ups, to guest management you will do it all at The Mansion.
Desired Skills :
- passion for hospitality & customer service
- interested and eager to learn the events, marketing and promotions field
- proficient with computers (word, excel, google docs, web searches, etc.)
- well spoken with good phone skills
- detail oriented and organized
- motivated self-starter
- must be positive, outgoing and creative
- must be living in the Washington DC area
- to apply for this internship, you must currently be enrolled in an undergraduate program or a current graduate level student, or have recently completed graduate studies with relevant work experience
