The door hanger campaign is for individuals or groups of individuals to distribute door hangers that have mental health resources in Washtenaw County on it in Ann Arbor, Ypsilanti, and Pittsfield Township.
If you would like to distribute the door hangers by yourself you will get a zone assigned to you in one of the three townships, sign a waiver and send it back to Rachel, download the Strava app to track where you have covered, and then start distributing in your zone. You can complete the whole zone in one day or you can come back to it another day. You will pick up and drop off the door hangers from the CEO's home, which will be given to you by Rachel.
If you would like to distribute the door hangers with a group, our project manager, Rachel, will set up a time and day to come speak to your group briefly before you distribute to provide the door hangers, go over the waiver, rules, assist with the Strava app, and answer any questions. The group can complete the whole zone in one day or you can come back to it another day. Once the group is done they can drop off the door hangers from the CEO's home, which will be given to you by Rachel.

Garrett’s Space is dedicated to reducing suicides and filling critical gaps in supportive care options for young adults ages 18 to 28 facing significant mental health challenges. We are working to restore hope and perspective in this population by promoting connections, self worth and resilience.
Description
Our vision is tocreate a refuge for young adults struggling with mental health challenges by establishing a holistically focused residential center. Our goal is to have the space serve as a model that can be replicated and adopted by others in our state and across the country. Even before the center is built, we plan to provide a range of wellness programming.
