At CSU Spur, we believe all children can solve the problems of today and tomorrow as engaged community members and scientists. Our educational programs engage children in hands on interactive learning opportunities to see themselves as the leaders of tomorrow. Program support facilitators engage with CSU Spur education staff to lead programs for school children throughout our facility. While not in a supervisory role, program support facilitators are critical for the success of our educational programs. Individuals in this role can support CSU Spur educators with program set up, orientation, exhibit guidance, small group facilitation, and clean up.

About CSU Spur

Location:

1092 Bettie Cram Drive, Denver, CO 80216, US

Mission Statement

At CSU Spur, we want to share amazing things about water, food, and health, show you why they are important topics, and then inspire you to know more!

Description

A place for awe and education

CSU Spur is a one-of-a-kind learning playground - a place where science research is underway and there is hands-on learning and exploration for all ages. At Spur, everything is on-show - from being able to watch dogs and cats in surgery, to watching horses walk on underwater treadmills, to seeing the horse-human connection through the Temple Grandin Equine Center’s equine assisted services.

Kids (and adults!) can get their hands dirty in gardens and interactive exhibits - you’ll be able to check out a growing green roof and rooftop garden, and learn where food comes from before eating at the Spur cafe.

A day at Spur has something for all ages - it’s a laboratory, veterinary clinic, market, museum, art studio, classroom, garden, innovation center... all in one!
