Michele's Rescue is looking for a Volunteer in home Foster Coordinator to help run our Foster & Foster-to-Adopt Program.

Tasks would be things like:

  • Helps recruit foster families to participate by opening their home to animals on a temporary basis while while furevery homes are found
  • Reviews / Approves / Deny / All foster and Foster-to-Adopt Applications within 48 hours of application
  • Provide Foster Training
  • Coordinate Foster Animal placement in the best Foster home to provide a safe and happy transition
  • Tracks what foster has what animals
  • Ensure new fosters are confident in starting their new role as a foster, i.e. handbooks, policies & procedures, etc.
  • Continuous education of fosters when required

This volunteer opportunity allows for a significant amount of flexibility and can mostly be done remotely. As our Team grows, we would like to implement monthly training activities and would hope this person would be able to assist in development and delivery.

Does this sound like something you could assist with and thrive knowing that in the end, it is all about finding a snuggly fur-baby a forever home.
