Making a difference one life at a time! Elara Caring Hospice is a leading care provider in Missouri and throughout the Midwest, our staff and volunteers work together to meet each patient where they are. We are currently looking for caring and compassionate volunteers to join our team and donate time to assist local hospice patients and families.

Elara Caring Hospice is a member of We Honor Veterans Organization and we do just that by providing excellent care for our Veteran patients. As a Veteran Volunteer you will be a companion to a Veteran in their home or in a local nursing facility. There will be no physical care involved, just a friendship. Enjoy a cup of coffee, play cards, or watch TV.

Assignments are based on availability of the volunteer. We ask that you set aside 1-2 hours per week for visits. We also have additional opportunities available. For more information, please contact Megan McGowen, Volunteer Coordinator, at 573-301-5055 or mmcgowen@elara.com
