Veteran-to-Veteran Volunteers: We Honor Veterans

Save to Favorites

VNA of the Treasure Coast

VNA of the Treasure Coast Hospice works to meet the unique needs of Veterans at end of life through our We Honor Veterans program. Volunteers help us do just that.

Veteran-to-Veteran or V2V volunteers provide support and companionship to Hospice patients who have been identified as veterans. V2V volunteers do this through patient visits, honor ceremonies and participation in special Veteran events. Patients enjoy socializing, reminiscing, playing cards and more with their V2V volunteer.

V2V volunteers spend 2-3 hours per week on once to twice weekly visits to patients. Volunteers may be asked to participate in ceremonies or other events throughout the year.

If you are a Veteran who would enjoy bringing comfort and companionship to a fellow Veteran at end of life, please visit our website to complete an application at
