BlackRock Center for the Arts

  • 1 person is interested

BlackRock Center for the Arts strives to bring inspiring performances and visual art experiences to a diverse audience in the Germantown area. Our volunteers are a major part of bringing this mission to life! Volunteers provide valuable services to BlackRock while enjoying the opportunity to make new friends and taking advantage of special privileges and experiences.

Volunteering at BlackRock comes with many opportunities, from concessions, box office, and ushering for our shows to being the face of BlackRock at events, every position is important and vital to our operation!

As we begin a new volunteer program we would like to get to know you. Please take a moment to fill out the volunteer form with your interests:

Those selected as volunteers will be sent a volunteer handbook that outlines all positions and training. As of now ALL volunteers will need to provide proof of vaccination against COVID-19 and will be required to wear a mask during all BlackRock events.

We look forward to having you as part of the BlackRock Family!

About BlackRock Center for the Arts

12901 Town Commons Drive, Germantown, MD 20874, US

Mission Statement

The mission of BlackRock Center for the Arts is to provide quality, professional performing, visual, and arts education programs for the benefit of the citizens of Germantown and the surrounding region. BRCA serves as an arts resource center for the community by engaging citizens in the arts through its presenting and education programs, and through community participation in its facilities. In 2020, the world changed and so did our role in Upcounty Montgomery County. Stepping up as an anchor for our community we worked with several partners to create the Upcounty Consolidation Hub (The Hub). In a matter of days, our award-winning Kay Gallery became home base for storing, sorting, packing and delivering much-needed food, baby, and household supplies that now serve approximately 1,000 families every single week.

Non-profit, professional performing arts and arts education center. Non-profit food distribution and personal health/wellness aid relief.
