Are you good at connecting with people? Have you used Zoom or FaceTime for work or with friends/family? You would be great for this Volunteer role working with our Minneapolis VA facility telehealth team!
Volunteers in this role would do outreach phone calls to Veterans with upcoming scheduled phone appointments to see if they would like to switch to a virtual, or telehealth, appointment. Volunteers will learn more about the VA Video Connect project in order to successfully answer Veteran's questions. A script will be provided to use while on the phone.
Ideal Volunteers will have excellent phone and communication skills, know how to navigate Excel spreadsheets, and attention to detail in documentation. Volunteers will have access to certain Veteran data and will need to maintain privacy and confidentiality as mandated by HIPAA.
Volunteers are required to have a documented COVID-19 vaccine and Flu vaccine prior to onboarding. Volunteers are required to wear a medical face mask while in VA facilities.
