Are you passionate about autism and looking to get involved and give back to Metro Atlanta? The Atlanta Autism Consortium (AAC) is now recruiting new members to join our Young Professionals Committee.
The Atlanta Autism Consortium Young Professionals Committee is comprised of dedicated adults in their 20’s and 30’s who volunteer their time and talents to help further the mission of the AAC, while building professionals relationships and strengthening skills like leadership, teamwork, problem-solving and more. The Young Professionals Community provides many opportunities for networking and event planning as well as opportunities to increase experience with marketing, fundraising and more.
Membership:
All members must identify as a young professional under 40. Members regularly engage with the committee and attend quarterly meetings, special events & outings. They also have the opportunity to work closely with our Board of Directors, serving on internal committees if that is of interest as well.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Participate actively in the success of the annual AAC Fundraiser, Young Professionals Fundraiser and Giving Tuesday Fundraising Campaign to support the strategic plan.
- Serve on a Young Professionals Committee.
- Attend quarterly Young Professionals meetings - the AAC YP Committee meets to discuss business four times a year. Each YP Member is expected to attend a minimum of 75% of the scheduled YP Meetings (3 out of 4 meetings).
- Attend a minimum of two AAC Programs to deepen understanding and connection to our cause (average of 11 programs).
