My New House

  • 3 people are interested

Immanuel has been the haven for many nonprofits in Los Angeles, including ours. However, their funds have been impacted by the pandemic. They have a playground that hasn't been used because it lacks proper flooring. We are seeking a designer to redesign the garden. We want to cover some areas with artificial turf. The designer will provide us with measurements and other ideas to make the playground look spectacular with a low budget. After receiving the designer's floor plan, we will look for sponsorships to make this a reality. Your support will allow us to bless more than two hundred families these holidays.

In December, we are planning two distributions where people will receive new clothes, shoes, school supplies, cosmetics, toys, food, gift cards, etc.

The designer can let us know his/her availability to check the playground.

Mission Statement

The mission of My New House is to enhance the quality of life of individuals and families focusing mainly on the aid and struggles of single mothers by providing access to basic needs and services so that they can enjoy a life of dignity.

My New House is a 100% volunteer-based organization that started its journey in June 2016 with the development of a thrift store. People buy new and gently used clothes, shoes, housewares, life accessories, and furniture at very affordable prices. With the help of fundraisers, My New House allocates money to help single mothers who struggle to pay utility bills. The eligible single-parenting households benefit from receiving a year relief of gas or electricity expenses. The name "New House" reflects the ambition that the people we will serve will eventually have a new house and that this new house will be better than the old one. Our final goal is the development of a resource center where individuals will benefit from receiving all kinds of services such as a dental clinic, psychological assistance, a food bank, a thrift store, etc.
